As the newly elected PTA President, I would like to welcome all of you to the 2019-2020 school year at Bells Ferry Elementary. For three years, I have participated in many activities the school has put on, but this year I felt called to do more than simply attend.

The purpose of the PTA is to support the faculty, staff, parents and especially our students of Bells Ferry by enriching the feeling of community through social outreach and family activity. I invite you to become a PTA member so that you can be part of all the fun we are going to have this year!

The success of the PTA depends on teamwork. Joining me this year on the PTA board is Dana Stassen - First Vice President, Laura Messina - Second Vice President, Stacey Hills - Secretary and Kelly Snead - Treasurer. In addition to our PTA board, we have several committee chairs who help with spirit night, art festival, international night, fall festival, holiday shop, bingo for books and more. The PTA team has already been hard at work this summer planning for this school year.

We would love for you to show your support to our school by participating in the numerous events and programs we have planned throughout the year. Whether as a volunteer or attendee, your participation is greatly appreciated! You can also show your support by providing feedback regarding our PTA efforts or ideas for future PTA initiatives. You can find the board and committee chair contact information here. Because social media has become a key form of communication, we would appreciate as many parents and teachers to “like” our Bells Ferry Elementary PTA Facebook page. We will use this platform to remind everyone of upcoming events and helpful information.

We in the PTA believe it is of ultimate importance we do everything we can to benefit the educational and social experiences for our children as they truly are the future. It will take all of us working together to make this happen. Myself, along with the PTA board, look forward to working with you this year!

Appreciatively,

Stacy Zellner
